Yes. Every plant is handpicked and packed securely before it leaves us, so the pot, soil and leaves stay protected on the road. A few leaves can look tired after a day in the box. That is normal, and most plants perk up within a week or two once they get light and a little water.
We will put it right under our Return Policy. Take clear photos or a short video as soon as you open the parcel and send them to us on WhatsApp, and our team will take it from there.
Yes. Alongside the online store, Zeelma runs a walk-in nursery in Karachi where you can see the plants before you buy. Visit our Contact page for directions and timings.
Choosing Plants
Snake plant, money plant, ZZ plant and rubber plant are the easiest to start with. They handle heat, dust and the odd missed watering. See our indoor plants for what is available right now.
Snake plant, ZZ plant and money plant cope best in dim rooms and offices. They still need some daylight, so a spot within a few metres of a window will always beat a dark corner.
Only slightly. The well-known NASA study was done in sealed lab chambers, and in a real home you would need a lot of plants to notice a difference. Buy them for the greenery and the calmer feel, and open a window for fresh air.
Bougainvillea, hibiscus (gudhal), jasmine and roses all enjoy strong sun, as long as they are watered early in the morning. Give a new plant a few days in shade before it moves into full sun. Browse our outdoor plants to see what is in stock.
Plant Care
Water when the top 2 to 3 cm of soil feels dry, not on a fixed schedule. For most indoor plants that works out to about once a week in summer and every 10 to 14 days in winter, and snake plants and ZZ plants like it even drier. Always use a pot with drainage holes, because overwatering kills more houseplants than thirst.
Overwatering is the most common cause, especially when the soil stays wet for days. Low light, or a plant that was moved recently, can do the same. Let the soil dry out, make sure the pot drains, and give it a week or two to settle. If the yellowing keeps spreading, send us a photo on WhatsApp.
Unbox it straight away, check the soil and water lightly only if it feels dry. Place it in bright, indirect light, away from harsh afternoon sun and AC vents. Wait a few weeks before repotting, because the plant is still getting used to its new home.
Yes. Every order comes with a free plant care guide, and our Plant Care page covers watering, light and soil. You can also ask the AI Plant Care Guide on the site or send us a photo on WhatsApp. The AI can make mistakes, so for anything serious talk to our team.
